Half of my family (on my dad`s side) lives in Perú, specifically in Sausal, better known as "the land of eternal sun". I visited Sausal every time I went to Peru (three times), but I was just a child and didn´t appreciate it as much as I do now that I haven´t been there for so long.
Sausal is a very small place in the district of Chicama, my grandparents, most of my uncles and cousins live there. It´s not a very touristic or stereotypically beautiful zone but I really miss the comfort and love that I felt there. My grandparents have papaya and banana trees near their house and live next to a vineyard, it´s such a wounderful thing to see!
I would like to visit Peru (specifically Sausal) to scape Santiago (where I live) for a while and spend a well-deserved time with my family. I wouldn´t go to live there because I got used to the "always on the run" lifestyle, but it would be good to switch it up for a while.
